Revision as of 01:09, 12 December 2023

The goal of this page is to provide a complete list of reactions in TPT for more experienced players. For a smaller list of useful reactions, go to Useful Reactions.

Reaction Format

All reactions on this page will have an equation and an (optional) description. If an equation is not possible for the given reaction, descriptions will be provided instead.

This page will not include every detail about an element. Click the element header to learn more about it.

Electronics

DRAY

  • Duplication: DRAY.png + SPRK.png -> DRAY duplicates particles in front of it
    • Sparking DRAY.png with PSCN.png makes the DRAY replace the particles in front of it.
    • If DRAY.png is sparked by INWR.png, it will not copy diagonally.

TUNG

  • Breaking: TUNG.png + (change in pressure of more than 0.5 per frame) -> BRMT.png(TUNG.png)
  • Melting: TUNG.png(@Temp >= 3421.85C/3695K) -> LAVA.png
  • Explosion: TUNG.png(@Temp >= 2126.85C/2400K) + OXYG.png -> LAVA.png(@Temp between 3621.85C and 4220.85C) + FIRE.png(1% chance) + 50 Pressure (2% chance) + OXYG.png

CRAY

  • Creation: CRAY.png + SPRK.png -> CRAY creates particle beam
    • If sparked by PSCN.png, CRAY will replace particles in front of it.
    • If sparked by INWR.png or INST.png, CRAY will not replace particles, but its beam will go through everything.
    • If sparked by anything else, CRAY's beam will stop when it hits an obstacle.
  • Be careful when building with CRAY.png, as it automatically sets its ctype to the types of the elements around it if it doesn't have a ctype already.

WWLD

  • Use PSCN.png to conduct to and NSCN.png to conduct from WWLD.png.
  • WWLD.png follows typical WireWorld rules, allowing it to perform logic and conduct signals.

EMP

  • Electromagnetic Pulse: EMP.png + SPRK.png -> EMP destroys any sparked PSCN, NSCN, PTCT, NTCT, INST, WWLD, and SWCH on the stage

ARAY, BRAY

  • BRAY beam: ARAY.png + SPRK.png -> beam of BRAY.png
  • Sparking ARAY with PSCN.png makes the BRAY beam shorter-lived, orange, and non-sparking. These BRAY beams are ideal for heating/cooling.

WIFI

  • Signal transduction: WIFI.png + SPRK.png(not NSCN.png) -> Transmission to all other WIFI on the same channel
  • Breaking: WIFI.png(@ >= 15 Pressure) -> BRMT.png

INST

  • Instant conduction: INST.png + SPRK.png(PSCN.png) -> Instant conduction - signals can be taken out with NSCN, GOLD, SWCH, SLCN, PTNM

  • NITR transmutation: NEUT.png + NITR.png -> DESL.png

Special

GOL

  • Game of Life Elements will spawn at the max temperature and gradually cool down. Therefore, oscillators can be used as heaters and still lifes can be used to cool things down efficiently.
  • Custom Game of Life types can be used to heat/cool better than the default ones.

Developer's Note: Add new reactions that you find. Make sure to use the source code to verify. Add the reactions in the correct categories.
