To turn other elements into COAL you most likely need to set the life and tmp to a value above 0 and around 50 respectively.


COAL naturally has a life value of 110, and a tmp of 50. The wiki describes how the life value works (when COAL is next to fire, the life value decreases until it reaches zero, then turns the COAL particle into FIRE). If you turn an element that has a life value of 0 to COAL it will combust immediately.

The wiki doesn't have any info on the tmp value but after experimenting with it a bit, it seems to act similarly to the life value except with pressure - if it gets exposed to high pressure it will decrease until a certain point, then break the COAL into BCOL.

 Holy mackerel your still alive? Thank you for posting this I am trying to get a save to work, but part of the map turns on when it's sparked. I am currently adding the years they where admitted. This isn't a solo work! @cracker1000 is helping me, I'll ask him if he's fixed the issue. If it it's recurring, well it might just have to do. Other than that thanks for posting that! If I ever make save based with coal and console.

 You don't make secret elements, you find them lol. I made a random bomb and it generated lolz. Not sure if it was a bug in 2012, (Possibly fixed.)

 There are some Lua script tutorials on the forum. Although you might want to be careful, because some lua scripts can cause viruses. I recommend using jacob1's scripts.
