Mods on android may happen eventually, but it's not a priority. The script server needs a lot of work and some better quality control and searching.
More explosives may or may not happen, they would have to be interesting.
It is very true that Android players get the lowest priority out of anyone ... it would be nice if another dev wanted to help improve the interface. But it seems unlikely.
