Line Tool Bug

    Hello!
I've recently encountered an issue with the line tool (holding shift, then clicking and dragging to make a line). Rather than making a line and drawing the selected element when I release the mouse button, it makes a line and constantly draws the element where the line is.

The picture here was made by holding shift, clicking, then moving the mouse in a circle.

I don't know exactly what causes it- it's happened twice so far, both times after playing for at least half an hour. I've been using WIND, I've been loading local saves and stamps, and I've been using the zoom tool a fair bit. It goes back to normal when I relaunch the game.

I could see this being useful in some cases, but it's not how the line tool is meant to work, so I figured I should report it.

EDIT: just spent some time messing around. It seems to happen when I use WIND while holding shift, then middle click to select another element (specifically TTAN)

Ok are you using wifi or soap as an element? Bcoz turning on hud ie pressing "d" and then placing pointer over a wifi can show the links. Are u sure it is not the case?

What version and view mode are u using?

Fancy display. And no, I haven't used WIFI or SOAP. I guess I wasn't clear, but the shape in the screenshot is actually TTAN that was left behind when I moved the mouse while holding shift.
Oh, and the version is 93.3

It could make for a good feature though. Having some sort of fixed start point and being able to choose different endpoints from that sounds like something useful (Obviously only if you can willfully toggle it)

I've actually boiled it down to a science, haha. You can easily toggle it by using the wind tool, and then selecting a new element to go back to the normal mode. It's almost worth just leaving in, since it doesn't come up often and is kinda fun to play with
