HEAC distance

I have made a mistake in arguing that HEAC is somehow bugged when it comes to transmitting heat wirelessly.

however, it seems to be misbehaving.

In this small experiment, the patterns on the left all work and transmit heat.(At least in my experiment.)

However, the patterns on the right somehow stop conducting heat for reasons that I cannot comprehend.

Again, this could just be intentional, so I will let @jacob1 be the judge here.

Did you even read my last commemt on your previous thread??

Heac is not broken my friend.

In this save the heac is not picking up temp because its not 4 pixel away from void.change its position by moving it one pixel upward and you will notice change in temp.

Explaination: In this case moving the right most heac upward by one pixel causes it to be exactly 4 pixels away from its below heac part and therefore they exchange heat which is not possible in current arrangement.

If still not satisfied try p'ming me.

Please see this save, it has a nice diagram on the left explaining how HEAC works

There are only 8 specific pixels it will conduct heat to, all 4 distance away. It works just like GOLD.

So it has to be EXACTLY 4 pixels away.

    That would explain things.

I did read your previous stuff but it sounded like "within 4 pixels" not "Exactly 4 pixels"

Thanks. I will stop it now, good day.
