Are you sick and tired of seeing low effort posts (e.g. FREE ROBUX IF YOU UPVOTE MY SAVES), bad suggestions (e.g. HoW aBoUt AdDiNg WEED tHaT StIcKmEn CaN sMoKe?), unhelpful answers (e.g. having an issue that isn't fixed by a certain way, and someone posts that exact same way), and posts that are generally bad but don't break the rules?

Well, here's the solution: Negative Reputation!

A red button with a minus symbol would be placed right next to the +1 reputation button. Clicking it subtracts 1 from that post's reputation. Negative reputation would also be counted in the total reputation number on a user's profile.

Posts with <0 reputation may be hidden with the message: "This post has an extremely low reputation. Show?".

Potential Issues:

• You may ask, "Well, Fusionftw, what if someone decides to bot negative reputation?".
  • A potential fix would be to allow moderators to reset reputation to 0, and/or even see the IP of whoever gives negative reputation (same as disliking a save).
  • Bans may also be issued for any one user to be mass disliking.
• You may also ask, "Well, Fusionftw, I HAVE -999999999999999999999999999999999 REPUTATION, AND IT'S ALL THANKS TO YOU."
  • Making bad fourm posts isn't my fault. Besides, moderators would be able to reset reputation to 0.
  • Obligatory LOL when negative reputation is added and this post gets 9 million negative reputation.
• You may also ask, "Well, Fusionftw, what if people decide to mass dislike old posts? Wouldn't that be considered necroposting?"
  • Well, yes. Giving posts older than 1 year negative reputation could be disabled.
• You may also ask, "Well, Fusionftw, wouldn't the TPT fourms become Reddit now with the upvotes and the downvotes?"
  • That's not the intended result, and I feel like that's the reason why this suggestion is going to be rejected.

Would limiting dislikes per player per day work?

So that a player could give out 3 negative reputation per 24 hours, and once they've given 3, the button is greyed-out.

TPT has no save API (at least that I know of), so bots would have to be run on a copy of the program, and go to each save over and over. It would take several seconds for bots to dislike each save.

Also, this thread has spiraled out of control. I originally posted asking if negative reputation could be added, some person said that it was already added and removed a few years ago, and that was that. Then someone posted about how their saves were being disliked, which had nothing to do with the suggestion.
