Save Name Changing

Yeah i get that this would probably screw up the entire powder toy and that people have probably asked this before, but... Have you ever uploaded a save then wanted to change the name about a week later? But the save has lots of views and upvotes and there is no way to change it without deleting the hard earned votes you got and might not get again?
Well I'd like to know if the abillity to change names will ever be added.
Oh and also this is in the help section because i thought it might not fit in the dev or dev assistance forum folders.

It's something I can do on a case-by-case basis (but have not done before). I do allow username changes by PMing me now. If you'd like a specific save name changed, PM me, and I'll consider doing it.
As a thing users can do automatically in-game, might also be a good idea. Would need separate save and save-as options, when you use "save" and rename the save, it will rename and preserve everything. "save-as" would create a brand new save with the one you select.
I still worry somewhat about what could happen if users are allowed to rename saves, but I'm probably worrying over nothing, I don't think it will cause many problems.
Don't expect this feature any time soon. Will still just be on a case-by-case basic until I possibly decide to implement it.Edited 2 times by jacob1. Last: 12th Sep 2019
