Ok, what I'm saying is that: Is there any wall or elements that never decrease in temperature and always stayed above temperature? I'm trying to make a geothermal power plant and I'm adding magma as an example of a source, but when the water enters and turns into water vapor, the solid separating the water and the lava becomes colder because of the temp of the water and the lava turns into stone. I need a solid that whatever temperature it goes to it stays at and never gets cold! Heat has to pass through this element as conduction so that the water transforms into steam, and this solid needs to sustain the temperature of the magma so that it stays magma! I need any answers quick because I want to publish that geothermal power plant!
would a mod work because there are some of them out there that have what you are looking for. if not you could put some gol inside of a box of dmnd
So let me get this straight- you put lava on it and heat it to, say, 1500C. After that point, the element stays at 1500C, and also heats up anything it touches to 1500C? If that's the case, the heat would really be coming from this new element and not from the lava.
If this is what you're looking for, your best bet is probably putting CONV(LAVA) in the pool of lava, so if it cools to stone, it'll be turned back into lava and heated up again. In a quick test I did, this kept it around 700C and was able to evaporate water endlessly.
If this isn't what you want, you may have to elaborate a bit more
My MOD has an element called COND (conditioner) that heats/cool nearby elements based on its own temp. That's exactly what you are looking for.
You can check the mod if you want.
Anyway, you can always use ARAY for heating things to a particular temp.
Use my new save made for this purpose
whats the link to the mod
dude dont necro and this is the link https://powdertoy.co.uk/Discussions/Thread/View.html?Thread=23279
