    would ropes or connectors (joints in http://dan-ball.jp/javagame/dust2/) be possible in tpt? (I'm not talking about moving solids)

     I believe so. It's gonna take some planning for the algorithm, but I think that this idea is not too far fetched. I might try it myself actually.

    would it work in sort if the same way soap does but only 2 particles and its stiff?

    Ropes would not be possible with TPT's physics engine. What would they connect to? On your previous thread it was already established that moving solids are not possible. There is no way to link multiple particles together and have them stay together and properly collide with other objects.

    Ropes do seem similar to soap strings, bit even that is nothing close to actual rope physics. Soap bubbles / lines are just a handful of soap particles linked together with lines drawn between them. The link breaks if they get too far apart. One soap particle has little effect on other nearby soap particles. There is no global physics for the string, still just individual particles.
