logging in errors and savebrowser errors

if i try to sign into the server inside the powder toy, i get a "http error 404: not found" error when i click sign in.
and when i try to use the in-game save browser, i get a "http error 603: malformed response" error. are these two related? how do i fix them?

Sounds like something is hijacking your connection to the website and pointing it somewhere else. The game uses http (not https) which could allow this.
It might be a local antivirus or firewall doing it -
the link takes me to the tpt download page. ill try to disable the antivirus.

Ok. Now that you know it's the antivirus, you should see if you can add an exception for TPT to allow it to make network requests. It's not a good idea to entirely disable it. -
even for me the server says its invalid
