No it was not removed. It's a option in TPT (for some reason). It somehow removes the white box, anyone here know how the 3d effect works and how it effects the cursor?

3d tells SDL to hide the cursor, and it instead draws a replica of the cursor on screen. The system cursor wouldn't be drawn in 3d otherwise.

3d will be removed in the next version, because the next version will do something much faster to render to screen. It was only an april fool's joke anyway.

Cool, well here's a summary of what we know about the white box:

    -it's annoying

-It disappears when 3d is on

-Disappears when I try to take a screenshot

    -hides behind walls (Just walls...)

    -Happened on the latest snapshot

    -Only happens on mac...

I will just have to get used to the glitch since everyone seems to be fine with the cursor...

Can you reproduce it on snapshot version below 135? Like 130 or 131 etc? It may be due to sdl2 upgrade.

No, because Suddest originally reported this on the sdl1.2 version.

Anyway, I found one other instance of this bug on google:
    https://forums.x-plane.org/index.php?/forums/topic/130246-mac-high-sierra-the-white-box/

No idea if this program uses SDL also, maybe it does. But it does say it started on upgrading to Sierra. This bug is unlikely to be something I can fix, SDL will have to fix it.
