Random Crashing

Ever since I updated to 91.0, I have been experiencing loads of random crashes. All of a sudden (Normally after I post a comment) it will say "Powder Toy.exe has stopped working", and then will close. It mostly happens when commenting or publishing. It has done it on multiple computers with different copies of TPT. Both PCs are Win. 10. I was wondering if it had anything to do with the 91.0 update. It wouldn't do it before I updated it. I hope someone can help me.

Can you try the latest snapshot for a while and tell me if it still crashes?

I am having the same problem, however it still happens in the snapshot, and the screen goes blue and says "An un-recoverable error has occoured. Please report this error at powdertoy.co.uk"

91.2 fixed the random crashes in the save browser. The only crash I know about is a potential crash on startup, which is solved by deleting powder.pref (and might be OS X only)
Make sure you are using the latest version (91.3) Then make sure you are actually launching that version normally, and not just going back to an older version or something. If the crash is on startup, then delete powder.pref.
I can't help you much if you don't give more information, like where / when / why the crash happens. -
I was just loading a save. Also, I am on the latest version.

I don't remember seeing anyone else report crashes when loading saves on 91.3 .... Everyone was saying it happened on 91.0, so I rewrote stuff for 91.3
How often does it happen? Does it happen the moment you click on the save, a few seconds after you click on a save, or the moment you click 'open'? (Or some other time)Edited once by jacob2. Last: 25th Apr 2016 -
Different times, but it always seems to happen when I am on a save. This is the first time I have had it happen on the newest version, but when it did, it happened 3 times in a row!

Well maybe it was either the save you were trying to open being slightly corrupted / broken, or some issue with your computer. Definitely strange.
If the save was corrupted, it could crash when tpt tries to render it. If it was your computer, maybe that would mess with the RAM just enough to crash the game.
