Fullscreen Option does not work. Urgent!

Hello I would like to issue a problem I keep having, over and over again. When ever I press the fullscreen option It doesn't go fullscreen it just stays the same window size and Theres a huge black background. It's very frustrating. My Resolution is 1336x768. Thanks in advance. -Xeno

What OS do you use (windows 7/8, mac, etc.)? So you can just toggle this option and it does nothing at all?
Edit: actually this does sound intended. TPT can't scale very well at some window resolutions so SDL will keep the window the same size and put in a black background.Edited once by jacob1. Last: 14th Dec 2014 -

Fullscreen really should be made less glitchy. I just tested it in fullscreen on my second monitor (1440x900) and it went full screen on my primary (1920x1080), and then when I came out of fullscreen, all my open windows were half stretched across both monitors.
Then again, I don't use fullscreen, so it doesn't really bother me.Edited once by cctvdude99. Last: 14th Dec 2014 -
Well That sucks. Guess Im gonna have to wait for a fix, or get a new monitor.

SDL handles fullscreen, not us. There isn't much we can do (that just sounds like a problem with how SDL works on your computer) -
