eraser malfuction?

    for some reason even though i have another element selected things keep getting eerased when i do not want them to be erased. and the erser was never selected so it should not be doing this. am i the only one having this problem?

    Look at the HUD. (if it's not there, press H). It sounds like you're in specific delete mode, if you press the keyboard shortcut to get out of it (I forget which) that should fix it.
