I'm experiencing a serious problem. When i use powder toy, when i try to log in the website the login page never loads. In the game opening saves and changing pages take very long (like 20-30 seconds). i constantly get "request timed out" messages and many saves say "error:corrupt save file or from a newer version" but i use the latest version (86.1). i turned off my internet and turned it back on and the problem disappeared. but now, several hours after i last put on my computer, this problem is back! i turn off the net again and turn it back on and the problem disappears. I have a feeling that turning the net on and off won't work everytime, and i can't loose TPT. especially since i'm going to release my best save so far. It's probably not my interent because other sites work just fine. so what's wrong?
It *could* be your internet...
thousands of version before,
i register a account(this one) and find that i can't login
and I cannot upload my saves(of course, how can you upload when you can't login?)
I thought that my account was not working and it was very sad that my saves are only in private
It started happening to me 2 days back. I was using 86.1 and it was working fine until 2 days back. there is no specific reason i can find that could have caused this problem.
Also, i can't access facebook either, it looks like the internet is cutting me off from social sites :(
Does it work fine with your mod? maybe i could download it. but that still doesn't fix the website taking too long to load every time. It works fine until i try to login, when everything slows down like hell.
For me it works fine with he's mod.
Okay i downloaded jacob1's mod and it works fine. THREE CHEERS TO JACOB1!!!!
Now both the website and the game works perfectly. but i don't know whether it's just luck or jacob1's mod. Ill have try to login tonight or tommarrow morning, if it works then, THREE CHEERS TO JACOB1!!!!. until then, i hope i don't have to leave TPT because of this stupid "glich"
Should try checking your routes to the websites that are not working next time it goes to crap. Some router somewhere along the way might be getting murdered by a DDoS or just some ordinary congestion. How you do that depends on your OS. Often there's not much you can do about it unless the router in question is on your ISP network. If it is, you can contact them and bitch at them untill they fix it or reroute. Check google if you don't know how to do it.
My command prompt is broken :( but i'll try it on my laptop if this happens there. thanks anyway :)
