Ever annoyed you that you were making a city explosion scene or something like that, made the effect then paused, but after the pause, the motion blur dissapears, and the thing you were going to make doesn't look so cool. So I'm suggesting that motion blur created by fire or plasma or anything else should not dissapear when the simulation is paused except if a button is pressed to do so.
I don't know if it's really called that way, but I'm reffering to the blur left by, say an explosion. Explode a C-4 bomb and the fire will leave in a shockwave-like effect. But if you pause, it just becomes a ring.
@tudoreleuu Ahhh, you mean the glow effects that lag behind? That's probs hard to keep, it would require the glow of the fire would have to stay, even if the fire was gone. =\
@cctvdude99(View Post) Persistence mode. And it may be that the transparency of the color from the pixels in this mode is decreased a certain amount every redraw, or it could be a function of time. I don't know for sure, haven't been able to find the section of code for this view. But if you can find it, you could probably extend the time yourself by changing some values or something.
