Log-in bug

There is this error in powder toy thats bugging me. whenever i auto-install an update for powder toy, it downloads the update, and closes itself. when i then re-open powder toy, then it closes itself automaticly, and when i open it yet again, it says that an update is avalible. i try downloading the update many times, but it ends the same all the time. i then physically have to un-install powder toy, then reinstall it, which causes all my saves to go away. please fix this!

saves are linked to your account, they do not 'go away'. maybe you mean stamps? the stamps folder can moved to preserve them.
Anyway to update, just download from the website instead of the in-game one, and just replace the .exe in your current folder. -

ya i always get that problem EDIT: but it did work when updating from 44.7-45.2...

ya but its SO annoying having to download the new version from the site every update! i dont get why it wont auto-update, it worked perfectly well when i had 44.7 then updated to 45.2, but i found the problem with updating 46 beta 1 to 46 beta 2. it did exactly what DarkShadowz said. it did it with updating to 46.3 too.
