I have been searching the settings for an eternity and have not figured out how to enable it..... i tested to see if they did by default but no heat was conducted into the pipe, only the walls.

    I am in beta

Put some HEAC near the PIPE when generating.

Thank you!!!! i thought i was going crazy! Does it need to be on the pipe or does it just need to be near?(just getting specifics i could prob test for this)

you just need one pixel of HEAC touching it before it begins to generate. The "idea" is that you'd replace all the BRCK with HEAC but it only actually has to be one pixel.

There is a bug with HEAC where it rapidly drains heat from pipes until they reach absolute zero. Embarrassing bug ... the 100.0 release will fix it though lol.

thats really weird and actually kinda cool XD I'll have to test if i get that bug rq.

Weird... i think it might be accidentally inverting the temp of the pipe for output cause i piped some steam through it and it froze the tub of water i had for output. after futher testing yea i think thats it

Yeah once you get heat pipe, just delete the HEAC, that will fix the heat drain issue.
