not exactly help, languages

i speak in german natively and its my preferred language. i noticed in the rules that we should only use english. Can different languages at least have a duplicated forum but in their language, like wikipedia? there is not way that "english only!!!" hasn't turned down people who were quite smart. its very limiting.

There are spaces on the internet for German speakers, but this forum isn't one of them. We don't have any German mods, and using another language would isolate the majority of the community who wouldn't be able to understand you. Those are big reasons why we have that rule.
So we do ask that you use English here, so that the rest of the community can understand and interact with you. -
never seen anyone disappointed because of lack of other languages in forums tbh lol (youre the first one for me so far), lots of people speak other languages in saves instead of forums.

Learning english was incredibly difficult for me, and 10 years later i still make mistakes. Google Translate is so horrible at translation (atleast into german) that it is extremely obvious when someone uses GT.
i found out some pages come in different languages, although the amount of translation done is pretty low. so now, lets expand that to the rest of the website!

The wiki has user-contributed translations. We love when more translation is done, but it's not very much right now ):
As I said, the forums will remain English-only. Find a more private space if you want to discuss in other languages.
