I know how to make lasers and change their colors but I experimented the other day with lasers and I wondered to myself if there was a way to make lasers invisible.

I did try a few things without really knowning what I was doing, but I failed. When I say invisible I mean the photons are black. So is there a way to this?

There is not supposed to be a way. I remember there being bugs that would let you, but it's not meant to be possible.

Invisible photons are impossible due to this block of code which deletes everything without any color bits set - https://github.com/The-Powder-Toy/The-Powder-Toy/blob/master/src/simulation/elements/PHOT.cpp#L61-L64

That save is just really, really fast moving photons that instantly die offscreen, rather than invisible photons.

Regarding laser color.
