My friend created account but cant login

My friend created an account today but as soon he tried to login it said "Wrong login or password",
When he tried to use the "I forgot my password" it just said "Unknown error" or something like that.
He doesn't have another email to make a extra account for posting this thread so he asked me.
Is there any solution to this?
If his username is needed then tell me bcuz I think its a bad idea to write it here.
NOTE : His username contains dash in it
Would be really thankful if anyone would share the solution with me!

I'm going to take a guess that your friend is @Ahmed-bob
He needs to activate his account by clicking the link in the email. If he doesn't have the email, then maybe it went into his spam folder. I can confirm that the email was sent, though.

Oh my god thank you so much for help, Me and my friend already started thinking that it was a website issue but the actual reason was so simple. Now me and my friend can finally play together!
