Why is the resolution so small?

The window is very small, and I basically have to move my head very close to the screen, which is obviously uncomfortable and unhealthy.
A few months ago it was fine? The window was smaller than my full monitor, but still large enough to see from a good distance away. But after I downloaded one of the updates, I think on a mod, it opened back up and the window was small. So I went back to this website and downloaded the normal TPT version, no mods, I opened it up and it was still small.
Any fixes or can anyone help me here?

Go into settings and change "window scale factor" to 2 (or larger, if possible).
There are other options to make it even bigger than this, but the pixel scaling isn't correct with these options on and it will look incorrect or blurry. Feel free to experiment with different combinations of "resizable window" and the fullscreen options if you'd like. -
If you are on Windows 8.1 and up I believe you can use "Window Scale Factor" to increase you resolution. If that doesn't work you can use upscaling methods to try and increase the resolution, however there is some minor issues that make the screen look incorrect or blurry. Like @jacob1 said.
