Weird thing...

    So I was playing TPT and wanted to comment on a save and it said "you need to be logged in to post comments" even though I was logged in and if I weren't, it would have said "Log in to post comments".

    o_O this is weird

    yep it does that to me sometimes, try deleting pref and starting again

    Instead of deleting powder.pref, my new advice is to log out and back in, while in-game.

    TPT has a limit of 3 sessions, which is easy to hit, and when you do your oldest session gets logged out. If the game is running while this happens, you get this error.


    Also, if you did already take the advice of deleting powder.pref, just be aware of the new 96.0 feature, shared data directories. Deleting your settings file will automatically switch you to the shared data directory, not carrying over any saves or stamps. If this happens to you, you can go into options and click "Migrate to shared data directory" to fix it.
