S5 rule

I recently released my own game on the Play Market, based on one of my saves (id: 2659926), most of the sprites are made in TPT (+some mechanics are also based on it). Am I allowed to upload a save game announcing this game?

I already asked this question a few days ago, but I never got an answer.

We did discuss this when you posted your first thread, but never came to a big enough conclusion to post the response.

But we were thinking no, this would violate the rules. It's exactly the type of thing the rule was intended to prevent. We don't know much about your game, how it's monetized, what kind of data it might collect, so having an association with that wouldn't be a good thing. I wouldn't want a false impression this game is affiliated with us because it uses TPT elements and mechanics.

This game is not monetized in any way and does not require any special permissions. This is literally a physical sandbox that allows you to create spaceships like in the original save game, but really working.

One of the issues that we discussed internally is the process of "subjective review" of each and every case that this would occur. It's adds subjectivity to a process that we don't want to create in the first place - anyone who asks us "is this game okay to advertise because XYZ reasons" would therefor also require review and discussion by staff.

We don't want to create a precedence of a) reputational affiliation with our game due to a rule waiver and b) other future permission request processing for any other game with similar conditions.

In that case, I will not advertise my game here, or even mention it at all. Please block this thread (and the first one too).
