2B2T vs TPT

They are a lot alike, they have had big youtubers invade (no wars though) and OG players get mad about it, and the game/server came about in early 2010s and have had eras of content. I got this idea from a minecraft history youtuber named FitMC showing up in my YT recommended and i thought of the similarities

TPT has had many eras, I wouldn't consider SpikeViper to be notable enough to define a new era for TPT. There has been some notable tension on his saves due to his popularity outside of the game, and also on the forums, but his impact besides that has been limited. There have been a bunch of new players, I think he caused a temporary bump higher than covid did.
I can't say anything about 2B2T, since I'm not familiar with its history. Definitely not at all a fan of that type of MC server, sometimes people will come onto my MC server with the "everything is ok" mentality inspired from places like that. I'm guessing the comparison of TPT to 2B2T isn't based much in reality, as TPT has seen a slow decline in users, not a huge spike.
