Here's how sound might work in Powdertoy

    This is a sequel to a previous forum where I said that I was working on a way to add sound effects to powder toy. Here is the video explanation


    (yes, I know this idea has been rejected before, but this is a new way of doing it that doesn't involve making the game run at 2FPS.)

    maybe instead of audible sounds we have visual sounds? like sound waves and what not, could make an interesting mod

    I think it would make more sense if you could hear the area around your cursor instead of everything at once so you don't get blasted as soon as you open a complex save
