Where gore posts come from?

Recently I saw a lot of post containing cgi gore images. Those posts seem to appear systematicaly. Previously I don't seen such posts. Is it some kind of raids?

Yeah, some kind of raid. It started as a group upset over front page quality. They were up to various antics which were annoying (like having multiple accounts upvote protest saves to front page). Eventually one of them got perm banned (which they blame me for, even though I didn't do it).

So after that they did the first cgi gore attack, and that's when they lost all respect from me. They started uploading gore / offensive saves from their main accounts, leading their main accounts to be perm banned one by one. This is the only reason the rest of them are all banned, the fact that they uploaded this stuff.

Now they do it with alt accounts. I don't really understand the point of it all, I mean the userbase is clearly not buying their excuses as seen in the comment sections. For now all we can do is alert the mods the moment it happens, and a mod will come and remove all the saves. There were other rate protections I put in yesterday which also had some effect.

Lol, they think TPT "is dying" and continue killing it themselves. Pretty strange strategy.

I think it's sort of "If I can't have it, neither can they" response.

Although none of them (besides the first) would have been perm banned if they weren't doing this.

I always wondered why users making bad saves don't play powder game or some other similar sandboxes instead of TPT, they are much simpler. Maybe in future there will be some kind of filter to separate mobile saves from PC.

I wouldn't want to completely separate the two. Because then Android users would only see junk, and PC users wouldn't see what Android users created.

The OS you created a save is stored in the metadata. I actually have a feature enabled only for me that shows me whether a save was created on Android or not whenever I open one. The vast majority of saves are not like this. I almost never see a front page save made on Android, but often if I open a lower quality save in by date it was made in that version.

The Android version was meant to be a companion to the PC version, but it somehow took off and has over 1 million downloads. I don't know what caused it to be so popular, I guess it's just Android users looking for a free adless game.
