    Here is the big idea: A small executable that runs whenever tpt is opened. It checks for updates and if it finds a later release on the official website, then it asks the user if they want to update it. If they click yes then tpt is going to close and the executable is gonna download the release.

    TPT already does this, and has for the past decade. The Snapshots and many mods also do this.
