HTTP Error 612 SSL: Connection Error

After the latest update every time i try to login or more importantly try to load the 'gallery' (or whatever you call the front page) it spits out this error message. i have tried reinstall the application but it doesn't help. does anyone know how to fix this?

windows 10, not sure if its 32 or 64 bit

I see. You'll need to add the argument "redirect" to TPT's command line, try to open the online save browser (the 'gallery'), then close TPT and post the stderr.log that appears next to your Saves folder somewhere, e.g. pastebin.
(Adding the redirect argument should be as simple as creating a shortcut that points to TPT and adding "redirect" with a preceding space and without the quotes to the Target of the shortcut in its Properties.) -
@LBPHacker (View Post) Mac 10.8.5 is having problems after update too. Before everything worked fine and dandy but after the update, the only functional thing on the application is the default start screen.

And this is why it's a problem that very few people ever test the snapshots and the betas. If you get problems on Mac other than this and there's no forum thread about them yet, feel free to open a few.
EDIT: By the way I think we dropped support for OS X older than 10.9 because it doesn't support TLS v1.2.Edited once by LBPHacker. Last: 4th Mar 2020 -

You need to upgrade to a more recent version of macOS, that one is very old. It originally came out 8 years ago, and the last update was 4 years ago.
I thought I had blocked it from running entirely on macOS < 10.9, but I guess the game itself still works, just not online functionality. -
