I'm going to be leaving Powder Toy for now, a few reasons:

I don't fit with the community as well as I hoped I would
I haven't made more than a few good-good saves (I don't "art")
I don't get any ideas that would be fun for me and are not junking up the community with stuff like nonsensical visualizations of my personal projects.
On the topic of art, it seems to be dominant now, and art is exactly what I can't do on a good level.
Being a programmer, I value efficiency, and Powder Toy does not. For example, there is no gradient or "particle dither" tool, and the undo system is a little funky and often screws me up.

I may come back in the future, when Powder Toy is fancy, but for now I'm a dead user community-wise.

PS. Will there be a forum update sometime? I have to rewrite this entire post now, just because my title was too short.

Just wanted to respond to the last question:
We don't talk about bans publicly. ludapecurka123 was banned for good reason, though.

For your main points, if you are losing interest in TPT and don't know what to make, it's fine to leave. The game will always be here, if you ever have ideas in the future feel free to come back.

I feel what you mean, there are many talented and clever people on this site who can come up with crazy things and then there's me who just checks in every few months.
