What is reputation?

    It says that my reputation is 1, what is the meaning? What does that mean?

     The more reputation you have, it means a user/user's liked your post, it also can mean you're a trusted user and so forth. Thus meaning you have gained a good reputation in the community. There used to be -1 in the community, not sure how it worked. I believe the reputation of the user went down.
