TPT crashes when I try to post a comment

    Everytime I try to post a comment, TPT crashes.

    Does anyone know why this is happening?

    It is really annoying when you just try to post comments about save updates

    or reply to someone and you can't post comments at all.

     

    Known reasons:

    -when I hover over the submit button after typing my comment

    Which version of TPT is this? Do you get the crash when you hover over the Submit button (as you said) or when you click it?

    TPT 94.1, Jacob1's Mod version 43.0 build 111.

    I'm pretty sure it is when I hover, pretty much right when my mouse touches the button TPT closes.

    You should post this in the relevant thread then. (Though at this point I've already pinged jacob1 about this so there's no reason to do that.) I guess you should use the official version or the website until he fixes it.

    I released an update to the Windows version to fix this bug. Next time you should post it in my mod's thread, though.

    The update server is broken right now and I'm entirely unable to access it. I was able to release the update for the Windows version through. The build script is broken due to some testing I was doing yesterday and only compiles windows builds now, so I can't release it for other platforms. You're probably on Windows, though.

    You probably won't be able to download the update because the server is broken, but maybe it will work.

    @jacob1 Actually I'm on Linux. But that's good to know.

     

    EDIT: In the mean time, I can use Vanilla TPT to post comments.

    I'm working with @cracker64 to try to figure out why me and a bunch of other people are having connection problems to the update server. I will post on my mod's thread when 43.1 is released for all platforms. This comment issue is going to be really annoying for me too :|
