A suggestion involving URAN and POLO.

URAN and POLO shouldn't be sources of infinite energy. URAN should turn into POLO and produce a particle of NBLE (a reference to the production of alpha partices, which are just helium-4 nuclei), and POLO should do the same, except i turns into BMTL instead of POLO.

    1. Too late to change, most of existing nuclear reactors would stop working if this would be changed.
    2. Why exactly? TPT is not meant to be a realistic simulator. TPT's radioactivity is NEUT. Also, POLO already stops emitting NEUT after some time.

Exactly what TPT_PL said. We can't do this for compatibility reasons, and TPT isn't a realism simulator, it's a explosive subframe shenanigin simulator.

^^ I thought it was some sort of thing that addicts you to making mods for it and gives you withdrawal if you can't make or edit one leading to frustration, sadness and boredom

There are thousands of saves based on the principle of URAN being used as an indefinite heat source. We still want people to enjoy saves with a smooth, uninterruptible experience without worrying about whether this save or that save from 'X' time period will run properly. Not to mention having to think about whether your save will work in the future, whether that is one update or multiple updates in a short period or long period of time.

Imagine working on a complex computer save for a week and it broks after update.
