Im making an electronic save and i want part of it to have sort of a metal plating design, and i dont erally want to paint that by hand, i was wondering if i would be allowed to use a generator for this since this isnt really a pixel art save

As one of the MOTD's states, electronics with nice deco is double valued. Or something of those sorts.

So yeah, as long as the main selling point isn't the deco, I don't think generated pixel art is bad.

     Alright thanks :P

Im probably not gonna do it though since i figured out a less complicated way to do it, and a way that also doesnt have a risk of getting me banned, it will just be more time consuming

It also helps if you say somewhere that you used a script to do it, otherwise it could possibly be seen as dishonest

I'm usually fine with making a script to create deco / elements for you in electronics. Since the main point is the electronics anyway.
Some really advanced electronics require scripts to use / create anyway.

The basic intent of the CGI rule is to prevent excessive art saves that were images from Google. Someone taking credit for work that was created by someone else posted on say imgur.

We can't verify whether someone pulled it from Google, an obscure forum, or actually made it themselves. So we simply made the rule to cover CGI art in general. If the majority of the save functionality is the electronics, that's perfectly acceptable. That should be the test, whether the CGI or the functionality is the man focus.
