I said "!set type move iron" and it said invalid particle type. How is move not a particle (it's GOL if you wondered)!

The different GOL elements are just an element called LIFE, but with different ctypes. So if you wanna delete the MOVE, do "!set type life "

As @QuanTech said, all GOL elements are just one (all will be one) with various ctypes.

    Well, no.

The element limit is 255. If we would have an element for each GoL variation, we wouldn't have place for other OSUM elements, like newly added POLO, HEAC and SAWD. LIFE is a very useful element. Besides that, why?

You can see what elements have what ctypes by putting some, eg. GOL, opening the console and ttping:
    !set ctype life <number>
Of course replace <number> with a number. Look up the order of elements in GoL menu. Eg., replacing <number> with 1 should give you GOL, as it is the first one in the menu, et caetera. It is so simple!

Come on, do it now! (^_^)

Minor correction, GOL is 0, HLIF is 1
