Error Unable to write save file

When ever I try to save a simulation to my hard drive, I keep getting "Error Unable to write file". This error keeps happening no matter where I try to save the simulation to. I've already tried to google the error, but the only relevant information I found was from 2011, and putting the error in quotation marks brought up nothing.

Go into options then click "open data folder". Check in there to make sure nothing strange is going on. It should put files in a folder called "Saves" in there, make sure you are able to create files in that folder.
Maybe your disk is full? But I feel like you would have noticed that ...
