'Subscribe' Feature.

    I know this has been suggested lots of times, however I thought of a way for this to be implimented.

    The SUBSCRIBE feature is basically just a feature you use to subscribe feature. There will be another little button in the top corner that says "Recent Subscribed Saves" (RSS), with two panels: Saves that were recently updated from your subscriptions and saves that were recently posted from your subscriptions.

     

    To prevent people from going on other saves and saying "plz subscrbe to meh i make awsum savz11!11!" , the number of people that are subscribed to you will remain hidden to everyone and everything. Only moderators can see the number of subscribed people and they are not allowed to disclose it to anyone or else potato will happen.

     

    The only issue I see with this is that people with more subscribers - active ones, that is - will have a higher chance of getting FP, as many people will be able to view their saves when it was just released.

     

    What do you all think about this?

    I think Fp should be for lower level people, while better people Rock the tag system.

    I think that the idea of a "Subscribe feature" is interesting but it would have problems, Trolls that use multiple accounts would upvote their saves, getting FP easly, and then they [Trolls] would become famous and would get extra subscribers. I know that moderators would be able to ban them but would supose more work. If you want "follow" user:AAAAAA then you can search all his/her saves writing user:AAAAAA.

     In any case, I think that a Subscribe feature would not be something good since people would want subscribers even if the number isn't visible. Having a great number of subscribers would make that some users get in FP very easly, making the non-famous users even less unoticable.

    I've said it a lot of times before (you can just search) but I really like this idea. Subscriptions would let you see new saves from authors you subscribe to. Subscriptions would also be hidden to try to prevent a lot off issues (some already mentioned)

    The main reason it hasn't been done is time constraints. I don't have very much of it. Also it would require database changes which i'm unable to do.
