i recently installed TPT on a mac, so i already have an existing account. (the one im using for this thread) and i was having trouble with the latest update not cooperating. i recently got a new computer annd tried installing TPT on this computer. (it is a DELL computer) i went to the site and clicked download, and that was about all it did. it installed TPT, but it was just a folder with the controls and everything in it. can someone help me with how to open TPT, or create a shortcut on the main menu?

TPT is just a single executable. Download it from the main page, and double click on Powder or Powder.exe (depending on your settings for Windows Explorer)

You opened the readme file (readme.txt). There should be an executable named "Powder.exe" in there too. Extract that to the location you want to run tpt from. There is no installer or start menu shortcut.

TPT isn't packaged like normal Mac apps (into bundles) - it's packaged as only a single executable file. So, if you download the .dmg file from this site, what you get inside is the executable file (Powder, has a cool fire-y icon), and the README. Drag the "Powder" file out and into some sort of separate folder (since it'll make like 3-4 folders and files next to itself). For example, a new folder under Documents/ called TPT.

Double-clicking the Powder file will then open the game.

This thread is about the Windows version :p

Also a minor inaccuracy with your post, the Mac version stores all files in a centralized directory, nothing next to Powder.app
