File Format Change

    What do i change the file format to because i have accidently changed it, heres what i did, i pressed open with (i was bored) then adobe reader (i dont know why) i then tried to open it but it wouldnt open because Adobe Reader isnt made to run games. and it came up with this message 'Adobe Reader could not open 'Powder-90.2win32.zip' because it is either not a supported file type or the file has been damaged. (for example, it was sent as an attatchment in an email and wasnt correctly decoded.)'

    please help me.

    i know im an idiot for doing this, but it would be fantastic if you could help!

    Right click > Open with > Choose default program > Windows Explorer > Ok.
    Unless you use a different program to open zips (like winRAR), Windows Explorer should be the default one.

    You should probably unpack the zip-file before running the game ;)

    This reminds me of the time when I told windows explorer to open .jar files in windows explorer. I was hoping it would open it like a zip file, since that is what they really are. But what it actually did was launch a new windows explorer process with the argument saying "open this .jar file". So that windows explorer would open a new windows explorer, and then another windows explorer ... and soon I had hundreds of windows explorers open.

    So now every time I try to open a .jar file on that computer, I fork bomb myself.



    Anyway, Mrprocom's advice should work, just tell it to open zip files with windows explorer. A program like 7-zip would also work. And also, please extract Powder.exe from the zip file, don't run it from directly inside like that.

    hheeelllllpppppp meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.....

    i downloaded 7-zip, because i couldnt download explorer, and..... IT WORKED!!!!!! THANK U SO MUCH ;)

    If you have Windows, you basically have to have windows exporer though. Right?

    Windows Explorer is what the program is called that shows your open folders and stuff. When you open My Documents, you get a window that's part of the Windows Explorer program :D
