The Powder Toy

Program or File?

    Hello, I have been looking around my computer and noticed that The Powder Toy is not on the "Program"

    list. This made me wonder, is the powder toy just a file? That might explain why it opens up so quickly.

    All programs are just a file (the executable) in the long run. Now, powder does bundle all its assets in the executable, so in that sense it is truly "just a file" (if you ignore external settings and saves).

    so, basically, all the information TPT uses is in the "powder-90.2-win32" file or it pulls it off the internet (other's creations)?

    Everything is in Powder.exe in that zip file, TPT is just a small portable program, it isn't installed or anything. No extra code is downloaded from the internet, only saves when you go into the save browser.
