im having trouble on instaling mods for this game and quite simply have never done it before. can anyone please help me with a working tutorial of explain the steps? any help is appreciated

You download the just like normal TPT:
(I'll put the example of jacob1's mod)
1) You download the file: (in this case https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/43784416/Jacob1%27s%20Mod/Jacob1s%20Mod%20ver%2032.3.zip )
2) You download it
(Optionally you extract it)
3) You open the Powder file inside
