Development is still pretty active on the game, so a new version will likely come eventually. Don't expect anything big, though, so far most of the commits are mainly bugfixes. jacob1's mod (made by one of the devs) is a more up-to-date version of the game, with some extra elements, and is aimed at "creating a more stable tpt version". If you'd like a more official beta copy you can try out this snapshot server which contains essentially the latest commit to the GitHub repo.
For a while I was constantly bugging Simon to update the game, but I haven't done so much recently. I don't have very much time to fix any bugs that show up, and I want to make sure Simon would still be there to update the game if there were.
Anyway, @CeeJayBee's comment has a lot of useful links
I am loving the snapshots and I hope you have time soon to be able to support that becomming the official. I have not encountered any issues escept the same occasional crash we talked about a month ago. I imagine that is what is snagging release?
@Sandwichlizard(View Post) No, i'm very busy and haven't worked on the game since the last snapshot a while ago. That crash isn't blocking release since I have no idea what could be causing it, and don't know how to fix it. A release might help someone find a way to reproduce it, or maybe a release would show that it is only the versions I compile which crash.
