Forgotten my username!

    I've created two accounts in total(this and another one). I don't really use this account anymore, I use my other account when using TPT. I do somehow not know the username of my second account and I don't know how to find out except for searching help here. The registred email address for my second account is (I hope I'm not breaking any rules here by writing my email address here, I myself don't mind showing my email address to others) XregularC@hotmail.com. When I tried to log in on my second account(assuming my username would be XregularC) I got the 'wrong username or password' error. I went to this site and reset my password(I could still reset my password since it only requires my email address), tried to log in with the new password and I could still not log in on that account. Since the username is case sensitive I tried it multiple times, each time a little different but I still couldn't log in. Sorry for the long text but if someone's were to help me with this I would be very grateful!

    Doesn't clicking the "I forgot my password" link send you an email a message to your email with your username on it?
    You can search for posts/saves that you have made if you remember their exact/similar name.

    Well there is no account called "XregularC"

    These are all the accounts linked to yours: HackingTestAccount, Danand772, klomst, Sweeet

    Not really sure how you can forget a password and your current account was registered in 2012 ... but ok.

    Edit: your account is HackingTestAccount based on the email, apparently.

    Oh that's kinda awkward...

    I registered with that email address when I thought I was so clever and found a way to hack another ones account so I made that account to see if I could hack my first account(Wish I obviously couldn't). Thanks for helping me, I wouldn't have been able to remember this without your help. Is there a way to delete that account and register a new one with that email address or will I have to change that accounts email address and then create a third account? I'd rather don't have more than two accounts and I suppose you don't want that either.

     

    By the way Danand772 and klomst are friends of mine, I don't reqognise the user sweeet.

    Sadly, you can't use the same email address unless you change it from the account you want to delete and use it to register another one.
    Sadly#2, you can't change your email because of a well-known bug.
    Sadly#3, you can't delete your account.

    I feel sorry for you now :(

    So to create another account I will have to create a new email account? I'd rather try something else if possible.

    Have you tried creating a second account with the same email? It might be possible, not sure ...

    Or you could always just use a temporary email service.
