Can't Change Email

Hi, I had this problem a while back and just figured it was a problem with the site that was going to be fixed soon. I was trying to change my email and every time I entered the new one and hit enter it said "Information Saved!" yet when I refresh the page it is still showing the old email. I also made sure that the password that I entered to change the email was correct and tried it several times yet it still doesn't work. I thought this might be an issue with it taking a bit for the email to update yet it has been several days now and the email has still not changed. As of now the problem remains the same and I am still unable to change the email. Any reason why it's not working? I'm positive I am doing it correctly... HELP! Thanks in advance :-)

Quote from jacob1 (io's quotes were modifyed a little)

io: The email can't be changed, could you help me?

jacob1: "You can't change emails on accounts."

io: "So, why is a change email form?"

jacob1: "I have no idea why it has one, it didn't used to have it. Editing does nothing though ..."

Yep, exactly what @io said (which is really what I said :P)

You can't change your email no matter what you do. The email doesn't matter at all ever since avatars can be hosted on this website. Emails are never sent out anyway except to confirm registration. The only problem is multiple accounts, in that case you should create a new email or use a temporary email service.
