I think I'll go, but that sounds like a lot of stuff to bring. 25 stacks will almost fill up your inventory

Here's what I reccomend:

Armor (at least iron)

Diamond/iron tools

Sword

Bow + arrows

torches (<1 stack)

1 stack of wood (logs)

Food (I would bring a few bowls and 2 stacks of mushrooms, since they are easy to find above the nether)

Ender chest (empty your stuff out first!)

Dirt

Crafting table + furnace

Bed (maybe)

Nether portal stuff (only 1 person really needs to bring it, but it will be very useful for getting back)

Of course, you can bring more stuff if you want.

I don't think it's worth it to bring more stuff like torches or boats, because you can craft them. Also you can just mine stuff like cobblestone.

That sounds good for a baseline.
