That's weird ... is a firewall blocking internet access for the game? Try checking the online save browser to see if you can open that.

If you were using the wrong password it would tell you "Incorrect username or password", any other error it will get all confused and just tell you the http status code probably ... (that's what it sounds like it is doing here, some other places do that too)
