Full screen Issues

This might seem a bit noobish especially since I have been in TPT for a very long time, but it seems I am having a full screen issue that I dont know how to solve on my new laptop. Whenever I put it on full screen, it puts TPT in the middle of the screen the same size as before and just outlines the rest of the screen in black. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

SDL will attempt to change your screen resolution to whatever makes TPT look the largest. If there is no resolution that will make it still fit but not be too large, then it just won't do anything. It mostly depends on what your monitor supports.

After doing that it always outlines the rest in black.

No, the TPT window is always the same number of pixels wide/tall. It doesn't support resizing at all. There might be some algorithms to draw it at other sizes but not sure how good those would look.

    why is it 640x480 basically?

A larger window would be slower and probably more cumbersome, but a smaller one wouldn't give enough space for simulations.

I still say we have an option (under the options tab) to double the on-screen pixels.
