What the...?

So, when I was making a space station, I unintentionally layered my Deut into the Titaniam layer that kept the deut seperated from the rest of the station, but the deut layered into the Titanium clipped the other deut through the Titanium, causing me headaches and all that~until I discovered the problem. I didn't use the consel to build my ship, what did I do incorrectly?

What do you mean clipped? DEUT is basiclly SPNG that can absorb itself, plus I'm pretty sure layering liquids in solids breaks the movement code.

Do you mean the liquids move through the solid? Liquids can move through a single layer. Or maybe the liquids are glitching through the solid for no reason? That was a reported but I haven't looked into much because I can't reproduce it at all. It only happens if you use Powder-legacy.exe, the normal version doesn't have the bug.

When the Deut went right through the titanium, it also brought some other deut from the other side.

What is the difference between Powder-legacy.exe and Powder? Does only legacy run mods?

I made a save on it:

Notice how the Deut moves through the titanium, even though there is no holes to move through. This is basically what happened except the deut was under the titanium.

The legacy version runs on older computers from like 7-8 years ago or something. I would say that version is legacy itself ... back when TPT started about 5 years ago there were enough computers without a CPU new enough to support the normal version.

Also "Mods" don't actually change TPT, the source is freely available so people compile standalone versions with the same code.

Edit: just delete that pixel and put some new TTAN in it? Or use double pixel thick walls like I sort of mentioned earlier. In that save it's just that single DEUT pixel on the wall layer that's expanding, it might be stealing some of the life from the DEUT inside the box too since it's touching.

Edit2: Also seems DEUT transfers life to other DEUT up to 2 pixels away.
