all you have to do is click the save as new name button and click the publish checkbox then click save.

There's not much you can do to help that besides making interesting content. If you really want it noticed, you can create a post about it in the Creations thread.

no, if you use that button it doesn't actually create a new save. It only does that if you change the name. You can change the description there or whether it's published / unpublished. Also if you view the save on the website you can publish / unpublish your own saves.
