Colaborations?

TPT, as we all know, is literally impossible to do colaborations in a single save. Since ideas can only be exchanged via comments, and only the creator of the save that is doing the colaborations can edit it, I wonder if it is possible for saves to be "editable-shared" with one or more online players, specifically for beta-testing and/or group projects. I know it's possible to do colabs with multiple private saves, but it is challenging to keep them private, unless you can message each other. I know it's kinda confusing, I'm not the best at explaining.

With this in place groups will become more interactive. Combining different types of powerful knowledge can (as we all know) be pretty cool if some famous TPT players known for their skills join forces and work on one, single project together.

    Imagine that...

I think this would be a cool feature, but I can't do server side stuff ): . Often people will make group accounts and give all the members the password (through the conversation feature on the website). This works fairly well, I know of at least a few saves that have been done like this (I think there's some electronics club that does this). It tends to be one person doing most of the work still but other people help.

Also for some self advertising, you could try TPTMP (TPT Multiplayer). Just have everyone go to a room when they want to work on the group save, if they are the only one there they can work on it alone until someone else joins. To get TPTMP just download the script manager and use this to download the TptMulti script (first one). Anyway, once you connect you go into the lobby, but you can type /join xxxx to join a private room xxxx. You can also use /msg to tell other people on tptmp what the room name is.

I created TheTechnologyLeague group account for The Technology league group.  I have shared login info with group managers.  so far so good.  we are doing some locked info threads with it so we can all edit the data but just the owner(me) and my managers.  also we published "SIMON the memory game" with that account and that went really well.  I was uneasy at first but its working.

Good idea, as long as the original creator can specify who all can edit the save.

Probably a private room on Multiplayer would be best for this.

Actually I've been sorta working on the collaborations idea for some time. I've got a few concepts and possible routes to take for implementing it with TPTAPI's groups system and stuff.
